Sun-X manufactured and installed the sunscreen blinds and arch covers to reduce the effects of strong daylight at London's Victoria and Albert Museum. This installation was completed in conjunction with Sun-X MT20 Dark Neutral Ultraviolet Filter .
To protect the priceless displays, our brief was to provide adjustable lux values of 200 at the window and 50 at the opposite wall. At the same time the view to the courtyard gardens had to be maintained. High ultraviolet filtration properties, exceeding the capabilities of ordinary window films were also essential. Additionally, neither the blinds nor the filter must alter the quality of the light; another essential element where articles and paintings are to be viewed without colour distortion. The blinds shown here are an example of the many installed by Sun-X at this location.
